Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and HOMEOS. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use HOMEOS.
1. Your account
You must provide accurate information and keep your login secure. You're responsible for activity under your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
2. Your content
The home information you add — systems, documents, photos, expenses, and history — belongs to you. You grant HOMEOS a limited license to store and process it solely to provide the service to you and the people you invite. You're responsible for having the right to upload what you upload.
3. Sharing and invited access
HOMEOS lets you invite others (a co-owner, contractor, realtor, insurer, emergency contact, and others) with scoped access you choose. You're responsible for who you invite and what you share. Transferring ownership of a home transfers its record to the new owner.
4. Plans and billing
HOMEOS offers a free plan and paid plans (Plus and Portfolio). Paid plans are billed in advance through our payment processor. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change prices with notice; changes apply to your next billing period. You can cancel anytime and keep access until the period ends.
5. AI features
Some features use AI to read photos, suggest details, and answer questions grounded in your home's data. AI output can be wrong — always verify important details (like model or serial numbers) yourself. HOMEOS is not a substitute for professional, legal, financial, or safety advice.
6. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service: no illegal use, no attempts to break security or access others' data, no uploading of malware, and no reselling the service without permission.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep HOMEOS available but don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change, or remove features. We'll give reasonable notice of material changes where we can.
8. Disclaimers and liability
HOMEOS is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior twelve months. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, so parts may not apply to you.
9. Termination
You can stop using HOMEOS and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You can export your data before deleting where the service provides that option.
